Please imagine you are going to the opening of an outdoor art exhibition in New York City in the Winter 2023. The news articles about the art installations by the Metropolitan Museum of Arts in Central Park suggest that there will be numerous celebrities present at the opening ceremony.

Please prepare a white outfit of your choice. It can be casual, chic, minimalist, formal, or whatever floats your boat. The only condidition is that your outfit must be white.

Please imagine you are going to a social gathering of your choice, that can be a party, a business meeting or a formal event, it does not matter. However their dresscode is strictly white.

My Presentation

Good evening Judges and Audience,
I am honored to have been chosen as a candidate for the Miss SL pageant.
Secondlife started slowly I was a bit lost but I developed some passions like being a DJ, photography and running a club.

For 2-3 years I have approached the world of models by participating in some competitions and I like being on stage and posing.

The Thing I really love about this is the fact that it stimulates me to go outside of the box, looking beyond what I usually do and how I present myself in front of others.

The Magic Flute

Please prepare a white outfit of your choice inspired to the 3 female character of the Opera "The Magic Flute".

My Presentation

Good evening Judges and Audience,
I had never read about this opera and after doing so I must say that I liked it. Especially the love story between Papagena and Papageno.

I identified with Papagena and so I decided to take inspiration from her for my clothing.
At the first meeting she didn’t really breach Papageno’s heart with her appearance of an elderly woman but with time and by playing the right notes, love blossomed.

So it happens in real life. At first we are shy and closed in on ourselves but if someone knows how to say the right words and manage to break down our walls, everything becomes easier.
I imagine Papagena today, an eccentric person who loves nature and shows it in his extravagant clothing inspired by the animal world… Especially birds…

A hidden message for her Papageno and help to bring him a little closer.

In our second runway challenge we’re traditionally looking at the International Women’s Day, which is observed on March 8th every year.

The International Women’s Day (IWD) has every year another theme to highlight the difficulties women globally have to overcome and struggle with. This year’s theme is #EmbraceEquity.

IWD has occurred for well over a century, with the first IWD gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people. Today, IWD belongs to all groups collectively everywhere. IWD is not specific to a country, a group or an organization, but it is for all women of all colors, beliefs and cultural backgrounds. This year’s theme goes even beyond that initial inclusiveness, equality and equity for all genders being highlighted.

For our second runway challenge we are asking you to look into the situation of the country you are representing and to tell us about the difficulties women and all genders face in terms of equality and equity. Which noteable efforts (if any) are being made by women and organisations in your country to improve equity for women and everyone?

My Presentation

Male, female and equality…. There is still a long way to go in Italy to arrive at an equality of vision between men and women. Thanks to the fact of a patriarchal mentality that still sees the woman as the one who has to stay at home with the children and who is not really considered a job but a duty and even now this vision of the woman has an effect on the choice of many girls and workers who have adaptation problems.

In recent years laws have been made that protect women in the workplace but very often a woman has to deal with home, children and work.
In work there are still many differences between men and women, first of all the salary which, for the same role, has a significant difference. The male figure is always preferred and only a few women manage to emerge in job level, statistic says 1 out of 4.

But… We’re working on it. Organizations have been born and some laws have been made to protect the female working world. The path is long but I’m sure we’ll soon reach a significant result. It just takes a little patience and courage.
